There's a fraction of a second lag, but it uses your wifi so it varies. If you don't look at both at the same time, you won't notice.

Cheers Alfs, just the answer I was looking for

One more though, is there any lag?

I stream football to mine by casting chrome pages with the various online streaming sites. Wasn't aware of it supporting miracast/allshare cast mirroring.

Re: Google Chromecast: Any good?
It's wireless, FC, and simply mirrors what you're watching on the internet on to your telly. So the answer to your question is an affirmative.

I know Windows 8 allows screen mirroring but shit out of luck on 7?

Dunno, my laptop is a Mac so would just stream it to an Apple TV. You probably can though

FC - what phone, or tablet, have you got? If it's an Android, as you've just bought the same TV as me I know for a fact that you can stream straight from the phone to the TV

I was led to believe that Sky Go does not work with this. Sky are protecting their multi-room revenue. I might be completely wrong though.
